I am self taught artist living and working in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. While not having a formal art education, I have worked along side and learned from a number of great artists. I continue to study art history and look at the best art I can, in hopes of learning something new. My work is mostly haunted by modernism, mid-century jazz music and my local surroundings. The simple vocabulary of form and colour provide a near infinite stack of possibilities from which to draw from. Slowly altering shape, tone and texture, solving compositional problems envelopes my process. I am currently focused on making small to easel sized acrylic paintings on canvas.
